A large genus with 9 species throughout Australia. The calls from these species are not well known and the taxonomy is somewhat uncertain.
There are probably three species catched by the recorder:
O. ridei and O. planiceps (together with suggested O. petersi and O. kitcheneri) belong to the planiceps species complex that is not yet well known.
All of the Ozimops species have typically flat calls in the range of 24 kHz – 36 kHz.
